Before I share with you the 4 great keys that can unlock you to become a champion in your home based business, I will to share this wonderful story of Jesse Owens, one of the greatest Olympic champions who master these 4 great keys. While still at college in the late 1920s, young Jesse was hungry to become a successful Olympic athletes but with little or no talent then, he approached his coach and asked him thus “what does it take to be successful?” His coach gave him these 4 great keys and young Jesse consistently implemented these 4 great keys.

In the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, Jesse James Owens achieved international fame by winning four gold medals: one each in the 100 meters, the 200 meters, the long jump, and as part of the 4×100 meter relay team. He was the most successful athlete at the 1936 Summer Olympics, a victory more poignant and often noted because Adolf Hitler had intended the 1936 games to showcase his Aryan ideals and prowess. Not only that Jesse’s record in the long jump at the Olympics could not be broken for over 22 years. Amazing right?

Jesse’s coach gave him this 4 great keys to becoming a champion which he implemented and you can adopt them to become a great and successful entrepreneur. The keys are

(1) Determination: This is your ability to have a firm and resolute towards a purpose. Whatever your purpose of becoming an entrepreneur or starting up your home based business, it is vital to always be resolute to your purpose of making it successful regardless of the obstacles or challenges that you might face long the way. Your determination will make look fear and failure in the face and crush them until success appears. It makes you never to give up on your purpose!

(2) Dedication : this is your devotedness to your task or purpose. This is a quality that is found in every champion where you must find a way no matter what it takes to get the result that you wanted. This is when you stop making excuses of why you can not successfully build your business with excuses such as you have no time, no money, no skills,no resources or tools to use. Instead, you devote yourself in creating extra time for your business despite your full time job, you save up and invest in your learn and resources to help you grow your business. Without dedication to your purpose, you will never achieve and maintain success in a long term.

(3) Discipline: this is your ability train yourself to follow /obey certain routines or rules that will guarantee you getting certain positive results in your business. This means that you will have to train yourself to learning and implement what you learn to get the result you want. It can also be you being able to control yourself to unwind your old habits for new ones. Discipline is key if you want to achieve great success!

(4) Sacrifice: This is the act of giving up something one values for the sake of something that is of greater importance. If you believe that your home based business can fulfill your dreams or purpose compared to your job or that your current disposition can become better through your business, then you have to give it a greater importance. So many people that fail in their businesses especially MLM do not have the sacrifice habit. you will have to tell your loved ones about your intent because they are important to you, but you must give up television, and other unproductive events in your life in order to achieve great success.
