Discover How You Must Learn the Art of Using Failure To Achieve Massive Success In Business and your Life  (Failing to Succeed)

I was just listening to an interview on one of the issues of success magazine where editor Mr Darren Hardy was interviewing Todd Duncan. Listening to this actually ignited me to wake up and start pursuing my visions.

One of the key things that I have come to realize is that we must always see failure as part of the ingredient on how to succeed in business and life. However, what will make us succeed depends on how we value or see failures or setbacks. Many of us see failure as setbacks, obstacles or even enemy of progress, this view have made a lot of entrepreneurs to give up on their glorious dreams or vision that they actually settle for far below what they have dreamt of becoming. One thing that I have come to realize is that failure must be seen as steps or opportunities to reach up to success. What I am trying to say here is that we must endeavour to start seeing failure in a new way; without it we can never succeed.

Failure can be seen as the product of a wrong decision, poor strategies or even bad timing of actions etc. This simply means that failure is a very vital tool for feedback to succeed only if we view it as an opportunity to improve on our previous effort or result. This perspective is very powerful when implemented and it can be a huge difference between and eventual champion and an eternal failure. Just like Anthony Robbins previously said that “it is not the events in our lives that determine our destiny but our perspective or the meaning of what we give such event that determines our destiny”. This is to back up my point here that we must start to change our views on failed result or failure. we must never be afraid to fail as it is an expected helper towards achieving success in business or anything that we find ourselves. Therefore, I will say that a failed venture is not really a failure but the refusal to even try to venture is what I call failure. Failing in anything is normal, what is abnormal is not trying at all. We must never be afraid of failure!

A wise man once said that “fastest way to succeed in business and life is to fail fast”. Every big hitting entrepreneur that we call success in the business world today are all big failures in some of the ventures that they have being involved in but their approach to failure made them to achieve success in business and life, why? Because they are not afraid to fail. So we must make failure our best friend in order to become successful.

“My great concern is not whether you have failed but if you are content with your failure”

Abraham Lincoln

Here are few tips on how to fail in order to succeed;

    1. Locate Your Talent or Specialty: you must first of all know what you want. find what your talent is, then be determined to do whatever it takes to succeed in such market or field

    2. Make A plan to succeed

    3. Seek More Knowledge and improve your skills

    4. Take massive actions on what you have learned

    5. If you fail, make sure you learn from the mistake you made

    6. Try again but ensure you have learned from the last failure

    7. To fast-track your route to success gets a mentor who had achieved what you aiming to achieve and learn from them. Please note having a mentor does not guarantee that you will not fail but will definitely reduce your numbers and cost of failure

One big thing now is that, ensure that you don’t sit down and give up when you have a setback. You must keep pushing harder after learning from your mistakes. That way you will surely succeed! Remember, admitting defeat can be a springboard for personal and professional growth. Be bold and never be afraid to failure but be a student of failure.

Please, share your thoughts and comments on this topic so we could all learn from one another.
