The Secrets of Becoming a Better Network Marketer
Last night while prospecting with a lead, I came to realize that there are so many people out there who still are not fit to succeed in network marketing as they keep blaming others for their failure as they also fail to accept that they are the one that will determine their success in this industry. I have decided to share my tips of becoming a better network; this is the characteristics of the Top Earners in the Network Marketing Industry.
- You Must Know exactly what you want: the first thing that will drive you to success in your MLM business is your big WHY. Is it to have more time with your family? , travel to your favourite destination, drive your dream car, buy your dream house, get out of debt, take care of your parents or even just to prove to someone that you can become a successful in you life. Your list may not be mentioned but you must define what you want…. Like my big friend Ray Higdon says ” pretend you have a magic wand…. ask of anything that you can possess or accomplish. You must believe in yourself because you can do it! Imagine you have the power to dictate or create your own destiny! got it?
- Your Attitude towards other networkers: So many people tend to blame others for their lack of success, this is true because I have seen it happen and I used to do it. I used to complain about the lack of support from my upline sponsors, the company and just keeping batterring them but never blamed myself. Can you see yourself doing this? Friends! this got to STOP! You must ensure that you don’t waste your time being offended because no one owes you anything. You are responsible for your own success. In addition, you must be nice and be helpful to everyone you meet in your networks. Always remember that Network marketing business is a people’s business; so to succeed in network marketing you must be nice to everyone you meet and must always add values to them even the Gurus, you help them to promote the contents, that way they will recognise you too. So, think about this “your ability to complain about others shows the abundance of inactivity”. You must know that to succeed in this industry, it requires lots of hard work from you,lots of learning, prospecting; there are great lots of activities you must engage yourself in to get the right result you want. You must believe in yourself, if you don’t; why should anyone else?
- Know Your Market: You must treat the market as a sacred place where the are certain rules that are in operation that determines whether you will succeed or fail. You must accepting this truth; the value you place inside of this market will dictate your income and influence. Never ever try to cheat the market, it is sacrilege. Don’t try to compete with others or outsmart people because it will hurt you in a long run…You must always help others by adding value to them. Remember, you will not receive anything, you have not earned either good or bad.
- Your Integrity is KEY to your success: You must avoid using the hype of confusing people with is BS of FREE system, no selling required, No cold calling bla bla bla…. You know what I mean. these hypes is dead in marketing…. The truth is people want REAL STUFF. It is more powerful to tell people what you will not do than what you will do. You must always promise less; deliver more value! This will build your integrity. Remember this ” your word is worth more than any amount of money because your word will continue to generate you commissions forever ; So commiserate with your word and your value”.
- Leadership: do you want to succeed in network marketing? You must practise attraction marketing! You must be a leader and always strive to create a team of leaders and not followers. In the process of creating leaders, it will be impossible to avoid creating followers as well. You must always lead and not manage your team. Always treat your team as entrepreneurs or business partners and not employees. This is something that you must have fun in , make it fun and a game, challenge them and still make it interesting to them. Never ever teach your team to bash other companies or team, this is a symbol of weakness. Always provide them with relevant trainings, supports, as well as mentor them.
- Time Management: Most people do not get the right result because they focus majority of their time on the wrong things. you must first realise that the MLM business is not technology, it is a people’s business… You must be talking to people. Your management of time will dictate your velocity of success; You must focus 75% of your time in prospecting people, this will guarantee you profits and great result. You must focus 25% of your time in passive marketing activities such as lead generations. To be a better time manager, you must work on yourself!
- Constantly Create a Vision of your Goal: you must always set your goals and take massive actions to make it happen.
